Hi there, I am Anuja Aggarwal. I am an artist residing in Jaipur, India. Although I have been painting since childhood, I started my professional art journey in 2019. Currently, the medium I am spending most of my time on is Alcohol Inks, but I also work with watercolors, acrylic colors, gouache, and mixed mediums. Here are some snippets of my achievements since I started and things that I am most grateful for. Thank you so much for spending time on my website and supporting my work.  

SPOKE AS A TEDx SPEAKER

I was chosen as a TEDx speaker organized by DDPS, Kota. I talked about how art came into my life. The talk was widely appreciated.

PAINTINGS EXHIBITED AT JAIPUR ART FAIR

JAIPUR, MAY 2024

Jaipur Art Fair was organized by FICCI at Rajasthan International Center. The show hosted some of the top artists and galleries in Jaipur. The vibrant colors and flowy nature of my paintings were greatly appreciated by the viewers.

PAINTINGS EXHIBITED AT IMAGINE FEST, NEW DELHI, FEB 2024

Imagine Fest is among India's top curated art festivals where the best galleries from across the country participate. The festival was held at PSOI Club, Chanakyapuri. My alcohol ink paintings received a lot of appreciation at the exhibition because of their unique flow, beautiful color blending, and one-of-a-kind style.

PAINTINGS EXHIBITED AT INDIA ART FESTIVAL, NEW DELHI, NOV 2023

The festival was held at Constitution Club Of India, New Delhi. During the four-day art exhibition, my unique alcohol ink paintings were seen by thousands of visitors and appreciated tremendously for their unique flow, color selections, and composition. The viewers had not seen alcohol ink art done like this up close. My display was the only one of its kind in the exhibition.

PAINTINGS DISPLAYED AT KALA SPANDAN ART FAIR, MUMBAI, NOV 2022

I displayed over 50 paintings at this wonderful art exhibition in Mumbai. The viewers were delighted to see the kind of possibilities and various styles alcohol inks could create. The exhibition was a major success.

INVITED AS AN ALCOHOL INK DEMO ARTIST - KASHMIR

An art workshop was organized by Opus Kala Sayojan in which 60 women artists from all over India had participated. The event was held in Kasmir. I was invited as a demo artist and I offered a glimpse of alcohol ink art to the participants. They all enjoyed the demo and tried alcohol inks along with me. 

During the event, I also displayed a few of my artworks in an art exhibition in which Ms. Meenakshi Lekhi was the chief guest.

ARTIST SHOWCASE IN "HER STARTUP STORY" 

Her Startup Story is a social media account that covers the lives and success stories of passionate women entrepreneurs who have made a mark in their fields. My art style and art story was covered by them and published.

Jaipur Art Carnival was organized by AbsoluteArts on 25-26-27 Feb 2022. Over 300 Artworks by 70 artists from all over the world were displayed during the exhibition. Anuja Aggarwal displayed her unique collection of alcohol ink art during the exhibition.

PAINTING CHOSEN FOR SPECIAL AWARD IN “MY COPIC MOMENT” AWARDS, AUGUST 2021

Copic, the most popular marker brand in the world, conducted an online contest in which the theme was “Summer memories”.

My floral painting was selected in the Special Award Category. The comment by the judges was, “This refreshing ink art of yellow and orange flowers makes everyone happy. Perfect for summer!”

CONDUCTED A SERIES OF ONLINE ALCOHOL INK ART WORKSHOPS IN COLLABORATION WITH POLINA FROM RUSSIA

OCT/NOV 2020

Alcohol ink art workshops are becoming very popular and people from all over the world want to learn different styles and techniques of working with the inks. I collaborated with a Russain artist Polina (she runs Mone & Mane Art Studio in Moscow). 

​

Together, we taught floral art techniques and ripples techniques using alcohol inks. The workshops were received very well and were sold out within a few hours of announcing.

ALCOHOL INK PAINTING GOT AWARDED 

15 AUGUST 2020

My painting was shortlisted and selected as the winner of the "Uniquely Indian" art challenge hosted by The Crimson Canvas on Instagram on Independence Day. The theme was to depict something which is Indian in your own way. Hundreds of artists on Instagram participated in the contest.

My Rajasthan themed watercolour paintings were chosen to be displayed at "Reth Festival" held at Jaisalmer, Rajasthan. It was a creative, residential festival attended by some of the prominent artists from all over the state and the country. The festival was organized by CultureClan.

Spreading the message of the importance of saving the bees by painting a wall canvas at Central Park, Jaipur. 

This Own Your Park initiative was organized by Contree and WeInfinityIndia, powered by Jaipur Development Authority.
