A perfect way to welcome spring. We bring to you an amazing alcohol ink art workshop that will help you learn the best floral art techniques from some of the top alcohol ink artists in the world who specialize in making their own unique style of flowers.

    Anne Roos Smink 
    (The Netherlands)


    Anne is an alcohol ink artist specialized in working with ripples and layers. Roses are her specialty. She will be teaching her unique style of making roses with colored inks and with metallic inks.

    Kimberly Deene Langlois (Raleigh NC, USA)


    Kimberly Deene is a mixed media artist with a love for the contemporary use of alcohol ink.  She will teach her style of impressionistic blooms which showcases beautifully blown petals and centers that carefully capture the light, creating a three-dimensional look on a black surface.

    June has created her own beautifully pigmented, joyous world of alcohol inks! The transcendent aspect of nature has a strong impact on her work. Her aim is not to reproduce but to see beyond into the essence or spirit. She will show how to create these flowy, wispy flowers in her style.

    (Jaipur, India)


    Anuja is an alcohol ink and watercolor artist specializing in floral art. She has a unique style of creating delicate abstract flowers with lots of lines and veins. She will share her techniques of how to make these beautiful flowers.

About The Workshop

  • Duration: Each artist would present for 30 minutes and then some time for Q&A. The workshop would be 2+ hours long.

  • Interactive workshop: Participants can work along with the artists and ask questions.

  • Material and tools PDF: Upon registration, the participants would receive a PDF of useful information about the products and tools needed for these art techniques, recommended by each artist.

  • Zoom meeting app: The workshop would be conducted on Zoom.

  • Workshop video: The video recording of the session would be shared with the participants (accessible for one month).

  • WhatsApp support group: A WhatsApp group of the participants would be created one week before the workshop to interact, share art, and help with further advice. The group would be active for one week after the workshop.

  • Giveaway and gifts: Participants would get a chance to win gifts sponsored by Nara Papers.
